I'm refreshing my thoughts about memory so I can publish this Podcast on the subject.
Last night I saw an incredible performance from Nikki Shiels in the Sydney Theatre Company production of Oscar Wilde's THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY adapted by Kip Williams and Eryn-Jean Norvill. It was an utterly mindblowing evening of theatre and an amazing feat of memory. But of course, this 2-hour solo performance was not just about remembering the lines.
PHANTASTIC / APHANTASTIC
If you are phantastic you are someone who easily sees images in your mind.
If you are aphantastic — you find images harder to summon.
The term comes from the word phantasm, a ghost or apparition. A memory.
